Ava AG has been selected among the 25 start-ups to participate in the Start-up Battlefield of TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2015. These companies will compete on tech’s biggest stage for $50,000 and the coveted Disrupt Cup.

Startup Battlefield serves to showcase the most promising early-stage and, disruptive startups. Over the past month, these startups have been working tirelessly to prepare to launch, rushing to finalize designs, and produce that final prototype. They spent time with TechCrunch staff to hone their pitches to a crisp six minutes.

The participating teams traveled from Austria, Canada, France, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Spain and Switzerland. Eleven female founders across 10 companies will take the stage this batch, setting a Battlefield record.

Each of the 25 startups has an attractive businesses modal that will help small businesses to manage everything ranging from finance to staffing, increasing communication in healthcare, teaching through VR, using machines to create artwork, hot-patching your mobile apps, making kids’ lunches easier and enabling athletes to get trained smarter.

Ava’s performance has not only been positive but has also fast-moving since it won the Swisscom Challenge and has since then continued to accelerate. The team also benefits from Venture Kick’s support.  It is upon their hard work and determination that they have managed to cross borders to the US and securing a place among the 25 selected start-ups participating in the Battlefield Disrupt 2015.
