Alpine High-tech Venture Forum 2018 is open for registration

The seventh edition of the AHVF, scheduled for 23^rd October 2018 in Lausanne, is hosted by Canton de Vaud. The event brings together innovative entrepreneurs from Switzerland and around, to discuss some of the trending topics in the field of Life Sciences, Clean Technology and Information Technology. The event plays an important role in the promotion of the dynamic and innovative professional entrepreneurs within the Alpine area. It also promotes the venture capitalists in the Alpine area and the rest of Europe to support their partnerships and investments.

The 2017 Alpine High-tech Venture Forum event attracted over 50 Swiss and International investors, business angels and corporate representatives, and 40 emerging entrepreneurs from the Alpine region presented their projects in front of an investor jury.

Pitching sessions for high growth startups
Like in the previous editions, the Selection Board will select 40 early-stage companies active in the high technology sectors to present at the Forum. The jury will assess them based on their business potential, technology merit, competitive position, investment interest and team experience.

The Alpine High-tech Venture Forum 2018 is also promoted as part of the 2018 European Venture Contest and the top quartile (best 25%) companies are qualified for the European Venture Contest Final, which will take place on 11-12 December in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Eligible to apply are startups from Canton de Vaud and Switzerland as well as from surrounding regions (including Rhône Alpes, Franche Comté, Alsace, Baden Würtemberg, Bayern, Tirol, Aosta, Piemonte, Lombardia, Trentino Alto Adige - Süd Tirol. Furthermore, the applicant must be a high technological entrepreneur focused on ICT, LifeScience and CleanTech.

Registration for startups closes on 7^th September.
