Virgin Atlantic relies on SkyCell’s containers to ship pharmaceuticals. Posterscope and Advertima digitise advertising in brick-and-mortar shops. And dizmo partners with telecom giant stc from Saudi Arabia.

Virgin Atlantic’s Pharma service will use SkyCell’s temperature-controlled containers to ship valuable, life-saving pharmaceuticals around the world. This partnership will further enable Virgin Atlantic to deliver pharmaceuticals through its Pharma Secure service, which was introduced for all urgent, valuable, and vulnerable pharmaceutical and life sciences shipments last year. Meeting the rising needs for pharmaceutical and life science products, Virgin Atlantic together with SkyCell offers end-to-end compliance and assurance of vaccines and other vital medicines. Cargo has been an important part of Virgin Atlantic’s business ever since the airline was founded by entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson 34 years ago.

A new digital advertising channel

Posterscope and Advertima partner to create a new advertising channel at the point of sale. On the one hand the partnership aims to deliver substantial media spending to Advertima’s core clients, which are grocery retailers in Europe. Grocery retailers can now leverage their in-store visitors by becoming their own media owners with Advertima Smart Signage. On the other hand the collaboration provides Posterscope clients with an advertising channel that effectively reaches customers at the point of sale, one of the most influential touchpoints on the shopper journey. Advertima directly connects Posterscope to supermarkets’ visitors through Posterscope’s proprietary Out Of Home (OOH) trading platform ECOS NOW. The platform enables real-time planning, purchasing and activation of digital OOH campaigns. Globally, Posterscope book over 30,000 OOH campaigns every year and its billings are in excess of $3 billion.

A partnership for the living lab

Stc, the leading telecom and IT company based in Saudi Arabia with revenues of more than $15 billion in 2020, signed a partnership with the Swiss tech company dizmo. The partners will launch a smart home platform in the future city of NEOM, a new city and innovation hub launched by Saudi Arabia in 2017. It is a region in northwest Saudi Arabia on the Red Sea being built from the ground up as a living laboratory. Stc, with dizmo as their partner, is bringing a health & wellness extension to the Neom smart home via integration with healthy lifestyle devices such as Fitbit, while also interoperating with the healthcare system for a collaborative relationship with the doctor.
