China awaits new Venture leaders

China has since long been an attractive country for Switzerland due to the massive growth opportunities it has provided Swiss start-ups. Through venturelab, ten high-tech start-ups have the liberty to explore Chinese market through a 10-day business development program. An exclusive opportunity to be part of a top entrepreneurial team, accelerate business growth and showcase Switzerland as a leading country for innovation.

The jury will select 10 most promising start-ups, which are planning to enter the Chinese market, to participate in the trip to China. They will travel to Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen, where a number of activities await them including an entrepreneurial and business development program. Organized in partnership with swissnex China, Consulate of Switzerland, venture leaders consists of numerous opportunities for face-to-face discussions with leaders of the high-tech community. Venture leaders offers a focused and intense program designed to provide participants with a maximum impact on their personal, business and network development.

During the trip, start-up founders from varied high-tech sectors will present their companies to experts and investors from Shanghai and Beijing area after which they will receive feedback. Experts in the fields of business development, IP, corporate affairs have also dedicated themselves to sharing their business expertise during the scheduled workshops with the participating start-ups. They will provide them resourceful tips necessary for successful business operations in China. In addition, Venture leaders will have the opportunity to share their own experiences with Chinese high-tech start-ups.

Eligible to participate are founding and managing members of innovative, high-tech, Swiss-based startups ready for export and with a high market impact potential. The deadline for registration is June 13, 2016.
