In a key commercial milestone, AgroSustain announces the launch in the Swiss market of its first official industrial grade product – AgroSFruits. Mainly focusing on exotic fruit crops to start, the foodtech intends to apply it soon also to treat locally grown crops. A second product to protect vegetables is in the pipeline.

Currently kicking off its commercial rollout, Swiss plant protection pioneer AgroSustain has just reached a key milestone by launching AgroSFruits, its first industrial grade solution, with a focus on exotic fruit crops for now. As CEO and cofounder Olga Dubey explained to Startupticker.ch, the startup intends to apply it also to treat locally grown crops soon.

Based today in Renens, the Vaud foodtech is set to launch three lines of products for fruits, vegetables, and cut flower. In a near future, the company intends to continue the commercial rollout of AgroSFruits in the other countries, mainly focusing on the European market, as well as launch its second product - AgroSVegetables in Switzerland and Europe.

Founded in 2018 by Olga Dubey and Sylvain Dubey, AgroSustain conceives natural solutions to protect crops, fruits and vegetables and thereby reduce food waste and induced greenhouse gas emissions. The company has fully developed and certified its natural coating and has filed four patents. Besides, the team has signed over 15 pilot trials with some of the largest European and Swiss retailers and wholesalers, and setup its production facilities.
