The Foundation for Technological Innovation (FIT) has chosen to support the two start-ups with a 50’000 CHF Digital Seed loan for Aequaland and a 20’000 CHF Digital Grant for Stacksync. Aequaland built a gamified educational platform for kids ages 4-9 and Stacksync offers real-time syncing between data warehouses and CRM systems.

An edtech platform on a mission to disrupt education

Aequaland has a bold vision of empowering kids to become their own superheroes and transform education through technology innovation. Its educational platform of digital minigames and resources helps children ages 4-9 build the skills and emotional intelligence to become well-rounded global citizens. The content focuses on three core themes: caring for oneself, each other, and the planet. The platform uses gaming to make learning more engaging and personalised. Aequaland delivers workshops and activity days for schools and organisations to support extra-curricular programs, holiday camps, and change management in innovation technology.

The main goal of Aequaland is to develop kids' aptitudes for "skills of the future," such as creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. Its blended toolkit is designed for easy integration and reinforcement learning. The Digital Seed loan from FIT will enable Aequaland to accelerate the development of Aequaland's Minimum Viable Product (MVP) into a commercial offering and build new features and minigames into the platform.

Bringing bidirectional data sync to CRMs and data warehouses

Companies use an ever-growing number of tools that each generate useful data. However, heterogeneous systems and siloed data remain a hurdle for data activation from startups to large companies. Stacksync is building an all-in-one solution to harmonize siloed data at SMEs and large corporates all around Switzerland and Europe. Its no-code system provides bi-directional and real-time sync between various streams of data, meaning there is only one single source of truth. The MVP is currently being built, including the Salesforce and Postgres database connectors. General availability launch is expected in March 2023.

In the upcoming months Stacksync plans on hiring one more engineer to help develop new integrations and scale-deploy the infrastructure as well as launching the Google BigQuery integration in April 2023. The Digital grant loan from FIT will cover part of these expenses and help the startup launch its product in the best conditions.
