Technical Cofounder & Head of Frontend Development

PRELIMINARY INFORMATION • We seek a co-founder who will stick around; i.e. NO EXTERNAL DEVELOPERS OR AGENCIES. • We seek a kick-ass coder; i.e. NO PEOPLE, WHOSE FIRST SUGGESTION IT IS TO SEEK FOR CODERS IN THE MARKETPLACE. • We seek an entrepreneur; i.e. NO PEOPLE SEARCHING FOR USD 10k+ IN MONTHLY REMUNERATION + BONUS + EQUITY +++ . During MVP Development & Market Adoption Testing phase (max. 6 months), we remunerate in terms of SWEAT EQUITY, following a transparent and fair approach.

MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB Your primary role is to design from scratch, develop, deploy and maintain one of our most important assets: the website and system frontends / interfaces connecting our services with the diverse B2B and B2C users through first-class human-computer interaction. Your primary duties and responsibilities include: • Shaping the compelling frontend strategy. Communicating a clear vision and roadmap to stakeholders. • Building and administering elegant, user-friendly and enterprise-ready frontends. • Working hand-in-hand with other teams to ensure seamless development, testing and deployment into production.

REQUIREMENTS • Exuberant passion for frontend development, capable of designing elegant, intuitive and seamless flows and interactions, while yet being pragmatic in your design choices. • At ease at solving complex frontend challenges by designing powerful technologic responses. Communicating and presenting ideas simply, concisely and honestly to various stakeholders, while ideally being able to make proficient use of UML and design tools such as Sketch or InVision (nice to have). • Kick-ass coder. At ease with agile development and continuous integration practices, while producing responsive interfaces with scalable, reliable and easy-to-understand code. Familiar with modern web applications, service workers and long-term caching. Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React.js, Angular), CSS and HTML 5. • Discerned analytic mindset, while able to drive things forward and get stuff done. This includes monitoring and optimizing usability & accessibility, while ensuring optimal profitability. • Innate potential to build and lead the FE Dev team over time, and to be the cool boss people like working for. Proactively sharing knowledge across the organisation, while appreciating to learn from others. • At least an excellent bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or similar. Fluency in English (German and/or French a plus).
