Venture Kick is an initiative from private donors that gives potential entrepreneurs from Swiss colleges and universities a chance to present their business ideas to the jury of Venture Kick. Venture pitch is the first stage of the venture kick program. Aspirants apply with a clear vision of turning their research project into a sustainable business. 4 of the selected start-ups will qualify for the second stage and receive CHF 10.000 each.

The program is open for individuals with a business idea in any scientific field currently enrolled at a Swiss academic institution (student, postgraduate, senior scientist, professor etc.) and starting a company in Switzerland. Applicants must not have already founded a legal company nor received any venture capital for their start-up.
