The three-day event brings together a community of legal professionals and digital innovators in order to discuss and develop the legal industry of the future. The winners of the Hackathon will present their ideas and prototypes to the audience of the conference.
The event starts on September 17th and kicks-off with a 48-hour hackathon; lawyers and software developers identify problems together and search for solutions. They are accompanied by ‘legal engineers’, lawyers with a technical understanding. Ideas are developed together and implemented into functioning prototypes in individual teams.
On September 18th, Hackathon Workshops will be providing best practice examples -‘Hands-On’ is the motto. In ‘Best Practice’ workshops we show how to integrate legal tech into daily work or how artificial intelligence can be used in client work.
The one-day conference will finalize this year’s event on September 19th. This year, the focus is on ‘New business models in the area of access to justice’. Use of artificial intelligence in everyday legal work and on the topic of’ ’embedded law and compliance’.
