Digital Trust and Cybersecurity Day focused on Talents
Opening of the ceremony :

• Mrs Fabienne Fischer, Minister of The Republic and State of Geneva, in charge of the Department of Economy and Employment

• Mr Philippe Leuba, Minister of the State of Vaud, Head of the Department of Economy, Innovation and Sport


A morning bringing together Trust Valley's public, private and academic partners to debate together throughout 4 promising panels:

1) Cyber attacks in Switzerland, a warning signal: how can we do better?
2) Critical digital infrastructures: what solutions?
3) Talent in cybersecurity: findings, actions and challenges

Before the pandemic the digital trust and cybersecurity sector was already short of talent. Over the past year, this trend has accelerated. There are more than 3.1 million job openings in these fields worldwide, representing a talent shortage of more than 43%. There is an urgent need to act now and address today's and tomorrow's talent challenges in a pragmatic way.

• How can we respond to the major societal and economic competitiveness issues that will arise between now and 2025?

• What are the human, technological and industrial challenges of digital trust and cybersecurity?

• Are we ready to make concrete commitments together to face these challenges?


Speakers and partners of the Trust Valley will debate these questions together.

• Kick-off of the 3rd season of the Tech4Trust acceleration program with the announcement and presentation of the 20 selected start-ups and the 30 members of the advisory board
