Ten startups which entered the IMAGINE IF! acceleration program will pitch to the audience and jury to win prizes.
IMAGINE IF! offers healthcare-focused startups and aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to accelerate a scientific idea towards a business.
In the previous selection round, ten finalists entered the accelerator program to work with mentors to go forward with their project. During the Swiss Local Finals, the finalists will prove themselves with their first IMAGINE IF! pitching competition.
The award package includes:
3500CHF in diluted-cash to the best startup
desk space in San Francisco by Swissnex
lab space at the Biopole by Startlab
access to the Global IMAGINE IF! Finals in London for the best biotech startup
The audience will also vote their favorite pitch and help them win the Audience prize.
Before the pitching competion, Marc Gruber, Vice President for Innovation at EPFL, will deliver the keynote speech on startup development for innovation. Lunaphore and a startup in the cleantech field (TBC) will present their work and the journey that brought them to it.
