Bold Pitch Night for female founders

WeBloom, a Zurich-based non-profit association making diversity and inclusion in Tech a reality,  works with Tech ecosystems to help them hire and retain women, invest in women and develop inclusive products. The organisation is organising the Bold Pitch Night to give female founders building tech-enabled sustainability solutions the opportunity to increase their access to investors and key stakeholders. Through this they discover the must-haves for VC investment eligibility by getting real-time insights from women who have been on both sides of the table, increasing their chances for the next round of financing.

Currently in Europe, female founders only receive 1% of VC financing. Additionally, climate mitigation and adaptation strategies as designed today could delay the attainment of gender equity by 15 to 20 years. This is largely because women are underrepresented in the fast-growth green economy and therefore are disadvantaged in garnering new jobs, participating in reskilling, and gaining access to funding for green tech startups.
