hiLyte is developing innovative energy systems for off-grid applications with a special target on Sub-Saharan Africa where 600 millions people lacks electricity access, resulting in a market of 30 billions US$. hiLyte has the vision to commercialize solutions that are clean, affodable and that deliver power on-demand. hiLyte is working on making this vision a reality with the hiLyte Cube : a smart energy system with LED light that can be recharged in solar kiosk and rented to people. The renting business model allows affordability for users and profitability for hiLyte. An activation system and mobile payment is in place to ensure safe transaction. After a successful pilot business project in Tanzania with 30 cubes, we are now moving forward with industrialization.
