CleanGreens (CombaGroup)

CombaGroup produces 100% organic lettuce in its greenhouses – without soil and almost no water. This type of above-ground cultivation, known as aeroponics, requires 90% less surface area and 99% less water than conventional methods. The system is largely automated thanks to in-house innovations, which include a mobile spraying robot that supplies the plants with water and nutrients. The system is market-ready, and the first greenhouse for commercial cultivation will be built in France this autumn.
