A strong startup team attracts VCs

The startup Show with Cédric Bollag hosted Michael Sidler, Founder at Redalpine, a European seed and early-stage venture investor.

Michael has a backgroundin Molecular Biology, Business Consulting among others. After 5 years at BCG (Boston Consulting Group), Michael took his career in the business angeling direction. Together with his partners, he created the first Redalpine fund in 2007. In 2008, they successfully overcame the period of the world financial crisis and they are currently raising the third Redalpine fund. Besides that, Redalpine is today a fund that gets approximately 1,500 startup proposals per year!

“If you want to become a successful Venture Capitalists, before that become an entrepreneur” Says Michael. More of his tips for both startups and aspiring VC are provided in the video.
