Amal is developing and progressing therapeutic vaccines in oncology. The objective of the collaboration is to validate Amal Therapeutics lead vaccine candidate using human-cells functional assay platform developed in the department.
Amal Therapeutics, a Geneva based start-up Biotech Company announced today that it signed research collaboration agreement with the Oslo University Hospital (OUH)-Radiumhospitalet (Dept of Cellular Therapy). The clinical research group at the Dept. of Cellular Therapy is involved in both clinical activities and the development and clinical testing of improved cancer vaccines and the expansion of T cells for adoptive cell therapy. The Dept. of Cellular Therapy is home to one of Europe’s largest and most modern GMP facility for cellular products and is currently involved in producing cellular products for several clinical phase I trials.
