Cebit Swiss Pavilion

40 start-ups shall amaze visitors from all over the world at the Swiss Pavilion at the next CeBIT. The companies will benefit from professional guidance around the trade fair and financial assistance funded by CTI and private organisations.

Switzerland's presence as a partner country at this year's CeBIT, the world’s most important digitisation trade fair, was a great success. Switzerland will draw upon the attention it has gained for CeBIT 2017 (20 - 24 March) and again create an attention-grabbing presence, one that will be all about innovative Swiss ICT start-ups.

40 start-ups will get the unique opportunity of a place in the spotlight in the dynamic environment of the SWISS Pavilion, as well as of direct access to SCALE11, where more than 350 start-ups from around the world meet investors, VC’s, accelerators, businesses and organisations. The Swiss Pavilion will be on 700 sqm exhibition space and will allow exhibitors to present their products and services and to network and meet business partner in a professional way.

Apart from a booth at the Swiss Pavilion, start-ups benefit from a service package, professional assistance and supported by funding measures of CTI and other organisations. On one of the days a Swiss Start-up day will be held on the SWISS Pavilion. Start-ups have the opportunity to pitch in front of selected German and Swiss companies.

Startups that participated last year are quite positive about the Swiss Pavilion at Cebit. Marcus Köhler, cofounder Comfylight said: «Our presence on the SWISS Pavilion at CeBIT 2016 allowed us to interact with highly interested professional and private customers, and even media partners like heise. We as a start-up were especially able to gain visibility thanks to the prime location and the selected co-exhibitors of the SWISS Pavilion.»

Christoph Wartmann CEO andFounder, NexiotAG, added: «Our participation at the SWISS Pavilion at CeBIT 2016 was an extremely positive experience. As a Zürich based technology Start-up, Nexiot was able to establish numerous promising contacts and relationships which have since lead to concrete business opportunities. We found the SWISS Pavilion to be the perfect platform for us as entrepreneurs. It is well organized and provides a wide range of networking opportunities with both client and partner organisations.»
