More than 600 participants have registered for this year’s CEO Day. The day started with a crowded hall and the pitches of almost 30 investors.

313 startups, 106 investors that are the impressive figures of this year’s CEO Day. This is a new record despite the new registration fee. And it seems that the fee motivated people even to join the Day as early as possible. At the start of the day the main hall of the Stade de Suisse was really crowded.

The first element of the day after the introduction was “Investors on Stage”. 27 investors pitched to the start-ups. To start with the investor pitches was an idea coming from the feedback of the participants. It allowed the start-ups to identify the investors that could be interesting for them and to meet them during the day. Now wonder the networking was very intense during the long breaks.

It was impressive to see how different the investors were. Business Angel Clubs were present but also corporate and classical VCs. Together they covered the whole investment cycle from Seed to Growth.

The Day continues in the afternoon with keynotes from Jan Lichtenberg (InSphero) and Jean-Marc Wismer (Sensimed, KB Medical) and the pitching competition. An extensive article about the CEO Day will follow tomorrow.
