The Global Fintech Challenge, a competition organised by the company Agorize, has officially began accepting applications. The online challenge will take place over a four-month period culminating in a live final event to be held in Paris in March 2016. Registration is open until 31 December 2015.
The Global Fintech Challenge gathers the innovative FinTech ecosystem around a challenge to think about major concerns this phenomenon has involved. The ultimate goal is to build strong business relationships between key actors of this movement.
This challenge will reward the one hundred best start-ups with the “2016 Best Fintech start-up lable”. This ranking will be established in collaboration with the challenge‘s stakeholders.
In addition, Start-ups will be able to demonstrate their talents by offering solutions to the challenges inherent to three specific categories. The event is sponsored by major companies in the banking, insurance, and consulting industries:
- The private banking segment, sponsored by the Groupe BPCE
- The insurtech segment, sponsored by the Covéa Group
- The customer relations and digital services segment, sponsored by the consultancy Stanwell
The challenge is open to all start-ups around the world that offer solutions in a wide variety of sectors including asset management, IoT, retail, banking, blockchain technology, payments, big date and cyber security.
