Fintech is the focus of swiss made software in 2016. The organization is looking for topics for a book about Fintech in Switzerland. And a group of fintech insiders has started the “Swiss Fintech Survey”.
Fintech is an important IT Trend. In the 2014, the global investment volume quadrupled to 12.1 billion dollars. The term Fintech sums up much more than next-generation technologies for banks. Fintech or financial technology can be every technology used for financial services and insurance, for the parabanking sector, social networks and more. These include topics such as e-commerce, mobile payment, Crowd Lending, Crowd Investing and Business Intelligence as well as new user interfaces and digital consumer interactions.
For the organization swiss made software this is a good reason to make Fintech the main focus in 2016 and the main focus of a book. "The book vol.5" (print, ebook, online) will provide a comprehensive overview of this topic with important voices as well as innovative projects. Swiss made software invites the representatives of the Swiss software industry to participate in this project. Suggestions for topics are possible until 23 August. Fintech survey
In addition a group of fintech insiders (finteCH metope zurich) has started a survey. It was prepared to help everyone better understand:
- who is in the Swiss FinTech community,
- views about key relevant issues,
- trends impacting the Swiss Financial Center,
- challenges faced by Swiss companies,
- opportunities to improve finteCH meetup zurich.
Anyone connected to the community can participate, whether located in Switzerland or abroad. Specifically, the orgnizers are interested to hear from entrepreneurs, professionals, investors, regulators, students, academics, and others with a clear connection to the issues.
A full report of the results will be released in July so that the entire community can benefit from the findings. Participants providing their email address will get the report as soon it is ready.
The survey deadline is June 31st, 2015. You can only take the survey once, but it is possible to edit your responses until the deadline.
Fintech Trade Mission to New York
