Sintratec and Technotrade

Sintratec, a Brugg based startup specialising in 3D printers has today announced the expansion of its distribution network to Eastern Europe. The startup has signed a partnership with the Czech machine tool distributor Tecnotrade. This reseller partnership is a major step for the Swiss high-tech company towards opening up the market in Eastern Europe.

Last month, Sintratec announced Picco’s 3D world as their first distribution partner in Germany. The latter had been using Sintratec’s SLS 3D printers for some time until he become an official reseller for Sintratec in the German market. This collaboration laid a foundation for Sintratec’s further expansion.

Today, the startup has announced its expansion in Eastern Europe through partnership with Technotrade, a Czech based company offering a comprehensive range of machines for manufacturing tools, as their distribution partner. Technotrade’s focus was originally on CNC-macines however, over time rapid prototyping and 3D printers have become more significant. Hence, working with Sintratec will enable Tecnotrade to enhance its portfolio in this field.

“We are delighted to sign a contract with Sintratec, the leading manufacturer of small format SLS 3D printers. The addition of Sintratec printers to portfolio gives us the third type of major rapid prototyping technology – the selective laser sintering process. We can now cove the entire rapid prototyping spectrum, enabling us to offer customers the best solutions”, says Pavel Oburka., Sales manager 3D printers at Technotrade.

“Eastern Europe is a very important market for the 3D printing sector as a whole, and for us as a young hightech company. We are delighted to have found an experienced distribution partner in the shape of Tecnotrade. They are very familiar with our machines, which makes them ideally placed to provide our customers with excellent advice and support in the field”, says Gabor Koppanyi, Head of Markting md sales at Sintratec.
