University members and young entrepreneurs take note: the first courses of the training programme for budding entrepreneurs will start again in early August. Those who register for a course now will have a confirmed place.

CTI Entrepreneurship’s education and training programme has been specifically developed by the Commission for Technology and Innovation (CTI) in order to ensure that more marketable research results from universities are implemented. The training programme for founders of knowledge and technology-based companies originally began life under the name of venturelab in 2003 and was very successful. CTI Entrepreneurship introduces entrepreneurship to more than 4,000 interested parties annually. CTI Entrepreneurship supports the next generation from academia and industry in the development of business ideas, business start-ups and growth strategies.

venture ideas: the first step to entrepreneurship
Anyone thinking of founding a company, or just interested in the idea, should visit the two-hour venture ideas event, where successful role models talk about their experiences as company founders. The course dates will be published in early autumn.

venture challenge: from idea to plan
At the venture challenge semester course, participants are able to present their business ideas. Teams form around the best ideas on the first evening and drive these start-up projects forward step-by-step under the guidance of experienced coaches. On the last evening, the start-up projects and business plans are presented to investors and experts.

Business Creation: jump-start your business
Anyone about to start their own business, or who has just started, is in the right place at the Business Creation training module – course participants are able to strengthen their business plan and deepen their knowledge. The module comprises five training days.

Business Development: grow your start-up
The five-day Business Development training module is for those who have recently founded their company and now want to establish it in the market. The course analyses the barriers, opportunities and markets, and helps to build the right structures and processes to ensure unimpeded growth is possible.
