Two Swiss Start-ups among IoT Heroes 2016

The IOT / M2M Innovation World Cup is a global award for companies active in the world of machine-to-machine communication and the Internet of Things. Among the finalists of this year’s competition are two Swiss companies: Kizy Tracking and Swissprime Technologies.

It has been a tough evaluation process for the international expert jury of the IOT / M2M Innovation World Cup 2015/16, but the best and most innovative companies have now been selected! All 25 finalists will have the chance to become IOT / M2M Innovators of the year 2016 in the categories Smart City, Mobility, Security, Healthcare, and Connected Home.

The two Swiss start-ups among the finalists:
Kizy Tracking offers a complete range of products and services for global object tracking. The K-1 GSM tracker works wherever a mobile phone does and fits everywhere. Its extremely low power consumption allows it to operate for weeks or months. The Kizy online tracking platform is the coordination center for all tracking activities. May it be on the customizable online interface or through the Kizy API: Kizy customers have always access to reliable geo-location data for their tracking applications.

Swissprime is a high-tech start-up developing innovative wireless products and supporting its customers in realizing their innovative ideas. The company was foundes in 2009. Swissprime is nominated for My Lock. My Lock is an electronic locking solution for innumerable applications which allows users to share and revoke lock keys over-the-air using their Smartphone. The My Lock App is available for iOS and Android Smartphones.

All finalists will pitch their solutions and the winners will be announced at the official ceremony on February 24 in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress.

The elevator pitch and official award ceremony will take place in the Centre de Cultura Contemporània in Barcelona on February 24, subsequent to the first WT | Wearable Technologies Conference in Spain. The Innovation World Cup finalists will be on stage and present their solutions.
