venture leaders

The venture leaders program offers entrepreneurs who are ready to conquer global markets the opportunity to dive into the US entrepreneurial world. This year 10 selected technology startups will travel to New York and 10 selected Life Sciences startups will travel to Boston. Applications are open until 1 March 2016.

Applications are opened for the venture leaders 2016, a 1-week intense program that gives Swiss startups the opportunity to dive in the US entrepreneurial world. The program is offered free of charge to 20 selected entrepreneurs building a startup with global potential. In the last 15 years venture leaders programs have helped more than 300 entrepreneurs to build their vision and achieve success. Several of them belong to the best Swiss startups today, such as L.E.S.S., Abionic, Flyability, InSphero, Get Your Guide, Housetrip and many more.

For the first time venture leaders USA will take place in two categories: 10 venture leaders in Technology (ICT, media etc.) will travel to New York City and 10 Life sciences and Micro technology ventures will travel to Boston. We asked venturelab’s Beat Schillig and Jordi Montserrat why they decided to divide the program in two trips. Their explanation: “Having 2 groups of 10 instead of 1 group of 20 allows us to have a more tailor-made and individual program for each venture leaders. A more focused group is also more attractive for the high profile industry people and investors we meet.”
