Swiss Business Connector Beeckon set to grow

Since its launch in September, Swiss Business Connector Beeckon has been growing steadily with more than 500 registered users today. Startupticker.ch had the opportunity to get in touch with one its cofounders, Arnaud Frey and speak about the online networking platform and its growth plans.

On the crowded market of professional online networking platforms such as LinkedIn or Xing, Swiss newcomer Beeckon has listened to users who are tired of the noise and want to get back to basics. The startup based in Geneva wants to focus on connecting entrepreneurs around business opportunities.

To achieve this objective, the company founded this year by Arnaud Frey and Christophe Roig has developed a simple but effective process: Users first register and create an entrepreneurial profile. This enables them to post offers or requests in six different areas: product, investment, skills, partnership, property and events. The process is free of charge until entrepreneurs need to check their first answers. At this stage Beeckon offers a pay-per-check fee giving entrepreneurs free unlimited access for one month to exchange with the right people.

Two and half months after its launch, Beeckon has already gathered more than 500 users. Today the platform is growing at a rate of 10% per month with 70% of its users in Switzerland, says Arnaud Frey, co-founder and director of the company.

Beeckon is an entrepreneurship concept supported by Entourages SA from Geneva. The business platform founded in 2016 is set to grow in the next months. The company plans to develop partnerships with state and private organizations where entrepreneurs are. The company will also be releasing its mobile networking app (iOS & Android) in the first months of 2017.
