Planet Intus’ indoor geolocation solution at Palexpo

Palexpo offers new and innovative live-marketing tools and to enhance the quality of instant information provided to visitors. A beacon-based geolocation infrastructure has been rolled out in Palexpo’s exhibition halls, allowing visitors to find out where they are and how to get to their point of interest as well as to receive messages from exhibitors (depending on their location and time of day) via a mobile app.

The application offered will initially enable visitors to search for exhibitors and conferences that interest them, consolidate this information and manage it in their visit file, where they can incorporate their written and audio notes as well as their photos. Exhibitors will be able to provide visitors with crucial information about the exhibition and its participants.

Other value-added services, such as the option to locate friends at the exhibition, will gradually be added to this offer.
