The SICTIC Investor Day Lausanne presents several highlights at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne. Eight Startups will pitch and a special guest from Deepart, a startup that brings famous painters alive through intelligence and cloud computing will participate.

The SICTICInvestor Day is a matchmaking event where Swiss technology driven startups including web, mobile, software and hardware, pitch to attract experienced investors and supporters.  Eight selected startups will pitch before the audience and the jury at the 25th SICTIC Investor Day. They will also have the opportunity to network with investors during the networking session.

This time the event will host a special guest, Deepart, a German startup that provides a novel artistic painting tool that allows anyone to create and share artistic pictures. (Examples showing SICTIC advisors and board members above). The pictures are created using stylistic elements that make a picture appear as though it were painted by former eminent painters such as Vincent van Gogh or Henri Matisse. Through application of artificial intelligence and cloud computing, Deeparts software which was partially developed at EPFL brings these painters back to life. Łukasz Kidziński will present Deepart and its technology.

The application window for the event is open until tomorrow, April 21, 2016.
