Venture pitch is the first stage of the venture kick program. Aspirants apply with a vision, and a clear idea about turning their research project into a sustainable business. 4 of the selected start-ups will qualify for the second stage and receive CHF 10.000 each.

The program is open for individuals with a business idea in any scientific field who are currently enrolled at a Swiss academic institution (student, postgraduate, senior scientist, professor etc.) and start a company in Switzerland. Applicants must not have already founded a legal company nor received any venture capital for their start-up.

Please note that you will need to show a valid Covid certificate with an identification document to participate to the jury session. (PCR tests and antigen tests of less than 48 hours with QR code will be accepted).
